At New Leash on Life LLC, we offer mindful, reward based training for dogs of all levels of experience, ages 2 months to 20 plus years. We teach you to read and speak "dog" and your dogs to read and respond to "you" resulting in clear communication and trust between you and your dog. In addition to Basic Training we offer Holistic Care Coaching, Nutrition Counseling, Behavior Modification and TTouch.

Puppy Kindergarten

Puppies 8-18 weeks

Focus: socialization, house manners, basics

Puppy Kindergarten Graduates

Puppies who have taken Puppy Kindergarten

Focus: building on the basics

Basic Beginners

All dogs over 18 weeks
8 week course
Focus: basic training

Advanced Beginners

6 week course
For dogs who have graduated Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Beginners
Focus: review and practice of skills, preparation for Intermediate

Intermediate

For dogs who have graduated Advanced Beginners
8 week course
Focus: taking the basic skills on the road. Adding duration, distance, and distraction to the basics
Goal: reliability

Advanced

For dogs who have graduated Intermediate and are preparing for the Canine Good Citizen Certification

Canine Good Citizen Testing

For dogs with strong basic skills able to handle human and canine social interaction
